I had this poll on Favorite Mediums topic on the forum, I decided to create a new topic for more people to see it, unfortunately I wasn’t able to care over the original poll and it’s results. Anyone can retake the vote and I’m interested to see how everyone else feels.

Hello Samuel,

Can we pick more than one? I have multiple favorites depending on what I am doing. and where my mind is at. So I will see if I can vote for more than one but if not list my favorites here!!

I enjoy Acrylics, oils, ink and colored inks, learning watercolor(still not there yet - lol!), oil pastels, mixed-media, line and wash, need I go on???

If I were to choose my favorite at this time it would be colored inks in stippling, with detail.

This is a fun idea, I apologize that I am late to the poll.

So Artsy, trying out the poll for myself, I can safely assume that the poll doesn’t allow you to choose different answers, although you can change you vote by clicking the number after you have selected. Maybe I should have put a little bit of everything for those who like going from medium to the next like you. Hope that helps.

Hello Samuel, I like the idea of a poll but I have to agree with Artsy that limiting to one medium seems restrictive especially with a group like this that is so diverse in using multiple mediums. Right now I’m concentrating more on oil painting but I just played around with an abstract painting using gouache. Which I think would be a good addition to your list. :thinking:

As I look at the list I can see where it could get unwieldy if you keep adding everything. LOL.

Thanks for posting something to get everyone thinking. Do you think Pastels and Oil Pastels should be separated? :nerd_face:

I do Agree with you jcfuller, I tried the voting process my self and couldn’t select more than one option. I think that was how it was programmed, I will see if I can ask for more information. Thanks for your thoughts.
