Has anyone tried using the oil drybrushing technique for painting portraits on an acrylic board instead of the usual watercolour paper? Would love to hear how it went.
I recently finished a workshop for portraits and that is the method the instructor used. I usually paint oils ala prima so This method was new to me as well as a portrait in oils. I used a oil primed linen canvas board but you could use a acrylic based board just as well.
