June, what a beautiful job! You are such an inspiration, following along real time, plein-air artwork, etc.

Here’s my Getting sketchy lighthouse. I used pastel pencils to clean up the edges on the lighthouse because I loved the scenery and am going to frame it. The lesson was beautifully done even if Matt felt rushed.

Love it! I can see you got quite a bit more detail than me. I probably only spent 35ish minutes on mine. I just love this photo and your drawing too of course.
And yes - I do love to work along and go with my “happy accidents” and have a great time.

I absolutely love your work and spontaneity always. I’m going to hang mine in my bedroom to look at it every day. In keeping up with the beachy theme I have material and setup ready for the line and wash light house

I know all about it, I have tried to set aside some time every day to do something, no matter how short. My new secret weapon is putting on an episode of Columbo. I’ve seen them all so many times that I can zone out whilst they’re on. I usually can’t get stuck in until the evening time. Work gets in the way unfortunately.
