Hello, what are they? I see Derwent sells them. Are there other companies that sell them. I ask because the only info I could find was the Derwent pencils.
Thanks.

Hey, I don’t really understand what you mean with Graphite Colored pencils.
The main pencils are graphite or Colored pencils. There are some graphite pencils which are like Watercolor pencils and can be used as Watercolor pencils.
The only thing that comes to my mind is that the graphite is actually coloured, so you have like graphite pencils but with Colored graphite.
If that’s the case, I think that they will work like graphite not like Colored pencils. They could be erasable too, can be blended with tissue and stuff like that and totally used like you would use graphite pencils.
I think the reason why you did not find any more information about them is because they new to the art community and haven’t been used a lot. Definitely going to check that out and hopefully I was able to help you a bit
They Suck. I have both the Staedtler and Derwent and their colors are the same, like from same recipe.
They don’t erase dry, they don’t re-wet and lift, the colors are extremely muted so I can only think for landscape rocks use, there isn’t a green bright enough to be foliage. Shades of blue grey, red grey, tan, green grey.
I can’t think of one thing they’d be better at than just layered colored pencils if wanting the muted color look. Easier to mix the colors in watercolor then cut in half with Neutral Tint and get same (lack of) vivid color.
If looking for something just like that which plays well with graphite, but keep in mind it doesn’t erase, not even with electric eraser and before being wetted, give them a shot.
