I think your Peewee is coming along nicely, I can’t wait to see your progress! Hopefully we’ll be able to join the next live class.
I must admit that your picture is a little dark and makes it a little hard to see its true colors and vibrance, but unlike mine, yours doesn’t look angry lol
Hi Teri! The season officially ended for them on Sunday. They were undefeated in 8 matches over Saturday and Sunday, winning the gold medal bracket to finish their season. It was so exciting for all of us! Their team won the first ever regional trophy for their club.
Thanks for asking, Teri. It’s one of the things that keeps me connected to other people and having fun at the same time!
Wow, your finished Peewee has a flare as if he’s dancing, also very brightly colored. Lovely to see your post, I still have to catch up but getting there!
I so appreciate your kind words. Truth be told I do still have my own disasters, but I either don’t post them or a few even get thrown away. As a matter of fact, I had to restart this project because I was having a problem with the paper I originally selected. Thankfully with all the practice I’m getting and lessons that I take, the bad stuff is fewer and far between.
Thank you. I am working on a smaller surface here on Strathmore’s coal black multimedia paper with Poly-Chromos so it doesn’t look as lively. It is also 6 x 8 paper and a test drive as I plan to do the 8x10 on the same paper with ink afterward.
Brenda,‘’/you underestimate yourself. you are an exceptional artist in all mediums you are honing in on.
Your Pee Wee is so handsome and your colors brilliant. I may have to try wax based pencils again, When I started drawing I did not understand much and did not like the wasy buildup but see now that oil based don’t work so well on black paper.
