Jeanine - Thanks so much for joining us her on the forum. You’ve done a great job and I’m so glad you shared it with the rest of us. I haven’t even started this one yet, but it is definitely on my list of things to do.

Thank you. For those going to frame, what color mat board and frame are you considering?

Better late than never, right? I’m finally working on it and just finished the second lesson. This is what it looks like so far. (Sure wish I had more Rembrandt pastels, I only have the box of 10 half sticks of Muted Colours.)

Yay Terri, looking great already. Can’t wait to see it finished. Also can’t wait to see tonight’s live lesson.

Looking good, Terri! I’ll be anticipating your finished drawing. I’m amazed that your are getting that kind of detail and variations in color with only 10 sticks. I love it. You always amaze me.

Hi Brenda -
I’m using as many Rembrandt as I can (which is just 4 of the 10 colors in my box). For the rest I’m using pan pastels and pastel pencils.

Ahhh! Well, that makes sense! I just finished a pet portrait using pan pastels and pastel pencils. The pan pastels are so versatile and go on so beautifully!

I finally got this one done. I drew along using coloured pencils in a Canson XL Multi-Media book but had to miss the last lesson so finally went back to it last night. I wouldn’t use that paper again - too hard to layer and blend.

Wow! I love it with colored pencils! That must have taken longer than with the pastels.

It’s been almost TWO MONTHS since I last posted my progress on this pastel landscape. Life has kept me away from drawing. FINALY this week I finished this one.

So beautiful, Terri! You certainly have amazing art skills. I’m always impressed with your work. It’s good to see you around the site more. That’s the beautiful thing about TVI. it’s here when life finally loosens its grip on you.
