Just finished this one - this is my second “live” lesson and it was really fun! I have a question - do you add a fixative to the pastel before framing? I fear that it will make the pastels darker? This will be my first time framing one. I really love the paper. It made a huge difference on how the pastels could layer and build. I bought more so I wouldn’t run out.

Hi kjgriffin - You did a great job with this drawing. I have used fixative in the past, and it does change the color a little. Therefore, I try to get it double matted and in a frame as soon as possible, with no fixative. The double matt helps keep the art further away from the glass.
