Awesome! Enjoy! Isn’t this the new Wednesday Live Class project? I’m still slogging along with our acrylic painting of a pear for Monday’s class. LOL! However, I will be missing the Wednesday portrait class, though I might sit in on occasion just to see how it’s going. Oil pastels are not one of my favorite mediums, and portraits are the hardest thing I’ve ever tackled. Give me a bird, dog, or cat any day.

Yes I too have to finish the pear ! I had to buy acrylic Indian yellow which just came yesterday!
Plus drove my little orphaned mouse to Corvallis little over an hour away to a Wildlife rescue (only one does mammals this small!) And now I will get my life back … impossible to get anything done having to feed and clean little one every two to three hours around the clock.!!
First good nite sleep last nite in two weeks!

How’s everyone doing on the portrait drawing of Matt’s daughter?
I ordered some sennelier portrait color pastels and its going to be a lot better than having to mix the basic 12 I originally purchased for the last class with oil pastels!
Still challenging for sure though but also bought some new silicone blenders too and have a variety of points and textures to blend with too! Real reasonably priced on Amazon!
Hope to see some other folks adding to their work here too!

Haven’t started the face pastels yet but the hair is tripping me up to try and get the small size of the hair (mine is too big) and when I try blending they seem to smear and not have any form?
