Thank you Lucy,

It was fun to do. I should work with pastels more since I really enjoy them after I finish a few other half done projects.

I look forward to seeing your rendering of Pee Wee

Hello Teri W1R!

Seems like we’re all going through a bright colored peacock :peacock: kind of season, and your drawing is beautiful!

Thank you for sharing

Not sure if I’m posting properly but I wanted to get my peacock up. I’m sure enjoying working along with Matt!

I was not able to join the Peewee’s live class tonight. Would someone share where Matt left off or how far he got?

Thank you in advance :hugs:

Hi Sonia.

He worked on the crest/crown ( the part on the top of the head.) He got most of it done, and homework was to finish that.

Hello Theresa,

Your peacock is turning out quite lovely, I really like the colors you are using, the purply shadows.

See you next week

Hi Teresa @TeresaC

Greetings from another Teresa spelled the same as your name. I most often am referred to as Terri w2Rs. Then there is Teri Pope (ArtsyCrochet) also referred to as Teri w1r. I figure the more of us the merrier.

Your Peewee looks so good and you’re keeping up with the lessons. Please keep posting your progress here.

My little progress on Peewee. Finally a picture in the day with natural light by the window. It makes such a difference in the accuracy of the drawing colors

Hi Sonia.

Yes good lighting gave you good colors in the photo.

I’ve already worked on this area so I know how slow going this project is. Hopefully I’ll work on it tomorrow ( that’s if the fish aren’t biting).

By the way, the feathers on the body are really well done.

Hi Sonia, (with 0r’s)

Pee Wee’s personality keeps defining with each part you finish.
He is an intuitive or cocky Peacock!!

Hi everyone -

I just finished my pastel pencil version of Peewee Peacock. Yes, I know I’m working way ahead of Matt and the Live Lessons, but I NEEDED to actually finish something, and I really need to put away all those pastel pencils which are making my throat sore.

It was wonderful that Matt asked what we wanted this lesson to be. I’m quite happy with the results.

Absolutely beautiful. I am running behind and again can’t upload pics to show what I have done.

Again, you have created a lovely Pee Wee (if you can use lovely for a male bird!)

Hello All,

I finally was able to upload pictures to my computer.

Here is my version. It is on Strathmore coal black multi-media paper, 6 x 8 with polychromos.

I do plan to do it 9 x 12 on the same paper but with ink. I think the inks will really pop with ink, differently from the polychromos.

I used some different colors in the shadows on his body, an dark olive green. Also some turquoises and lavenders.

Pee Wee got the watercolor treatment. Arches cold press, 9x12.

Terri, your Pee Wee is very special. I cannot imagine how it must feel to create something so striking- it really does make me emotional- like I never want to look away. Your observation skills are so highly developed, it’s obvious how hard you’ve worked to be such a wonderful artist. Thank you so much for sharing.

That being said, all the Pee Wees (and your non-Pee Wee @TLP) all say something- and each one of them make me smile. Art is truly a joy, and I’m finding this class especially comforting and look forward to our evenings together.

Love seeing the variety in styles here. Anyone use the former Prisma lead pencils? That’s what I have and also using Strathmore Black mixed Media paper 184 lb 300 g/m. I’ve been working on this this week.
