You are so talented! Wish I could see the progression of it being made…
Hi everybody! Totally new memeber here. I just joined today. I wanted to share a recent drawing (if I can figure out how to do that). It’s colour pencils.
Thanks Elena, the bat looks fantadtic! Saw a fiew tonight in real life. The Gottesanbeterin (don’t know the English word) seems to be on the verge of a hunt. I love your color choices very much.
Keep up sharing your progress.
You are on a super artistic journey.

Thank you so much. I’m super excited to be here!
Hi @IsaacG
Very interesting - but I know nothing about digital artwork so that’s about all I can say.
Terri Robichon
it is a sculpture using quick dry clay and acrylic paints
that is an utterly stunning peice of art, keep it up
Hi @IsaacG -
Your sculpture of a snake using clay is great. You are bringing new kinds of media to our group on the forum. I look forward to seeing what other things you come up with.

Hi @siffermus
The colored pencil drawing you posted is wonderful. So now you know how to post photos of your work to share with us. Thanks for making the effort.
Terri Robichon
thank you. I intend to post more things soon, thank you for the support.
@Nan,
I just watched the critique Matt did on your beautiful piece. I can’t believe I had somehow not commented on it before. I must say it is very intriguing and interesting to look at. It really helped me get a better understanding of abstract/partial abstract art which seem more complex to create to me.
Thank you for sharing With us!

Hello @siffermus
What beautiful drawing of the gorilla, very well done! I especially like the skin on his face.Seems like I have been missing some great art. Thank you for sharing and inspiring others like myself!

@Meme5 Hi Sonia
Wow, thanks for letting me know, and for your lovely comments. I didn’t know he’d critiqued it, and so soon. Going to watch it now. Abstract can be challenging if you’re used to doing realistic art (which is all I’d done until recently) and it’s good to help you let go and ‘play’, explore, etc. And then use various art principles to reign it in again, to express whatever you/the work is/are trying to convey. Acrylic & collage are great to try with this - quick, can layer paint and/or paper to correct or change, and then scrape down to reveal stuff underneath.
Have a beautiful day.
Nan
