Hi Sonia -

Just so you know, I have no idea where that trouble area is, so you really did work some magic on it.

What a beautiful colour scheme! I love, love, love it! Incredibly precise work but, dare I say, still not looking like a photograph (see this as a good thing.) It is simply gorgeous. Thanks for sharing.

Did this with Inktense. Following Painting and Chocolate on Patreon.. Unfortunately with a unperfect paper. I ordered some kinds of paper to have more options to choose…. My first Arche papers will fly to me🥰

I am working on a series of local birds with pen and watercolor. I really like the combination of the pen application with the watercolor. This wonderful little chap is a bluethroat.
I first made the drawing with a UniPin 003 fineliner, and then I used Winsor and Newton Cotman watercolors on Winsor and Newton 100% cotton coldpressed watercolorpaper.
15x18cm.
It’s a beautiful little bird, can’t believe it’s native to the Netherlands where I live.

Hi Kat @KatLoveland

Welcome to the forum and thanks for sharing your work. I love birds and the black paper as the background that you worked on. You’re off to a good start. Is this pastels?

The classes here will teach you a lot. Keep posting what you work on in those classes and we’ll cheer you on. This is a positive and supportive place to hang out.
